Since our last post, business has really picked up and frankly I am glad to have the opportunity to sit down and chat for a few moments and give a brief overview:
Insomniac Design was recently thanked for helping to make the United Cerebral Palsy’s Angels and Demons Bash a success. We are fortunate to be able to work with so many non profit organizations and enjoy hearing about their continued success!!!
Other information about the Omaha Area Youth Orchestras can be found at www.oayo.org–including audition times/dates for the 2010-11 season.
Insomniac Design and RDG Planning and Design worked together to create super graphics for the Hastings Science Center on the Hastings College Campus. Images will be posted soon and they look AMAZING!!! Lea, Jeff, Des GREAT work!!!
USGBC Flatwater Chapter unveiled it’s new print collateral last Summer courtesy of Insomniac and we have been asked to create a t-shirt for their chapter as well as concepts for their Emerging Green Builders association. We are VERY excited to be apart of this organizations “growth” literally =)
Until we meet again this is the Insomniac signing off to go back to work.
Insomniac Design and United Cerebral Palsy worked together to create an image for their first annual Angels & Demons Bash scheduled for October 30th at Barley’s Tiptop in Omaha.

I am pleased to announce that I am the featured artist in Illustrate Omaha’s Designer Spotlight. http://illustrateomaha.com/
I am quite pleased with the outcome. Thanks Tony Montgomery—huge shout out to TMont—I met him a few years ago at a portfolio review. He blew me away with his detailing and thought provoking designs…luckily I liked his work =) He has been a huge influence to our community and I appreciate his dedication to quality design. Anyway back to me…http://illustrateomaha.com/
As a designer, the day can start off ugly and with the blink of an eye—well actually an hour after the caffeine from the morning espresso begins to percolate—things seem clearer. The “fear” of not coming up with anything and the thoughts of “how did I get myself involved in this project” to “how am I going to get myself out of this project” passed, I became one with the my me.
Amazing identity created today–I feel like a rockstar!!! Am going to celebrate by cleaning the house–this is fun for me and no I don’t get out much.
Insomniac Design LLC has risen. After 10 months of labor intensive start-up efforts we have finally arrived at the moment of glory, our site is live. I have thought about this moment for quite awhile now and glad to say I will sleep well after a quick 8 mile run and a glass of wine. Cheers and enjoy!
